AAA recognizes that finance & accounting professionals serve a critical role in protecting stakeholders, investors, organizations, regulators, and society. Members are expected to maintain not only technical excellence but also ethical judgment, independence, and professional discipline.
All members are required to comply with AAA’s Professional Standards, Code of Ethics, and CPD policy as a condition of membership.

AAA provides resources to support members in navigating complex ethical dilemmas:
AAA maintains an independent Ethics & Disciplinary Committee that investigates complaints, conducts fair hearings, and applies proportionate disciplinary actions, ensures transparency and due process . Possible actions include advisory warnings, mandatory training, suspension, or termination of membership.
CPD ensures members maintain current technical competence, professional relevance, and ethical awareness in a rapidly changing profession. AAA requires all members to complete annual CPD to maintain active membership status.
